Monthly Meetings
Monthly meetings are held on the 2nd Saturday of every month at National Park College, 101 College Drive in Hot Springs in the Student Center South. Map
Coffee, sodas and doughnuts (and lots of conversation) are available from 8:30am - 9:00am. Meetings from 9:00am - Noon, which includes introductions to new members or guests, presentations from local vendors, and general discussion about future club activities. Also a feature part of the meeting is the "Show and Tell" by the membership. All are encouraged to bring their creations to share with the club.
A demonstration or presentation of woodturning techniques is presented from about 10:00 AM to noon; We also make extensive use of Interactive Remote Demonstrations (IRD) with professional woodturners streamed live over the internet to the two 60" monitors in our meeting room. Woodturners from as far away as Hawaii, Canada and the United Kingdom have presented to us.
